House Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill and ranking member Maxine Waters released a House-amended version of the "21st Century" bipartisan housing bill, setting up a conflict with the Senate after President Trump urged the lower chamber to pass the Senate's version instead, according to The Hill.
Said Waters and Hill in a joint release, the amended bill reflects House committee priorities distinct from the Senate text.
