Congress Faces New Sexual Misconduct Reckoning After Two Resignations

Two House members — Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) — resigned last month amid sexual misconduct allegations, triggering what members and staffers describe as the most significant reckoning on Capitol Hill since the 2017–2018 #MeToo wave, according to Axios.
