Rep. Jill Tokuda (D-HI), a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House China Select Committee, said Taiwan must not become a bargaining chip in President Trump's negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to Bloomberg. Said Tokuda: "Beijing has been watching" U.S. military deployments, and the Iran conflict has left America in a "weakened position" heading into those talks.
