Experts Warn No Near-Term Diplomatic Path Exists With Iran

Ahead of President Trump's talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, analysts and lawmakers raised separate alarms about Iran and Taiwan, according to Bloomberg Politics. Said Rep. Jill Tokuda (D-HI): "Taiwan must not be a bargaining chip." Tom Kloza, Chief Energy Advisor at Gulf Oil, warned that gasoline could reach $5 a gallon or higher this summer if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, calling it "the only lever you can pull that has a major impact" on fuel prices.
